The history of Roshen Kimia Sdn. Bhd. goes way back to 1956 when the business of cover crop seeds first came into existence in Malaysia (then ‘Federation of Malaya’). The business was first started under the name A. M. Ghaney & Co. as a family business and has been continued ever since until our Chairman Haji Ahamed Liaquat Ali took over the business completely after his studies. He started Syarikat Roshen Kimia in 1978 until the company was incorporated as a Private Limited firm.
In February 1985, Roshen Kimia Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated as the importer & exporter of Cover Crop Seeds, Fertilizers & Chemicals. Roshen Kimia had been the pioneer in the field of cover crop seeds throughout Malaysia and Asia Pacific.
The company focused its main business into supplying of cover crop seeds to various plantations and agencies throughout Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, Africa, Solomon Islands and Philippines.
